Fast Lane Summer is about the lives of these people… and what they do.
And what they do, is build fast cars and race them!

You know, the kind that run on a fuel called NITRO, and sound like an F15 fighter jet taking off. The kind with the long skinny front, and the parachutes that help stop them at the end of the run. The kind that go from 0 to 250 mph in less than 6 seconds. The ‘other’ kind of racing that millions of people come out to see… at tracks all across America… every weekend.

The kind of racing we call… Drag Racing!

Fast Lane Summer takes a look at what life is like for the owner… and for the people he depends on… his crew chief and his mechanics, his friends and family, his sponsors, and of course his driver. It chronicles the constant tuning, testing, and traveling… the good times and the bad times… and the desperate times as well. The times when things are running smoothly and everyone is riding high… and the times when nothing seems to work at all… and you don’t know who to blame.

Fast Lane Summer is a story about racing… but it’s also a story about the people who do it. It is a story of dreams and dreamers… of risk and reward… of success and failure.

Fast Lane Summer is a season spent with a Top Fuel ‘Nostalgia’ Drag Racing Team as they work on their dragster and race it at tracks across the Western United States… recapturing the glory days of Drag Racing…
